For those of you who have never heard of us , this is the story of how it all statred.

COMICS,COOL ART & GAMES: News for travelers & cool folks was founded 6 years ago by Artist & creator Byron Huart.

It was in the spring of 2000 when it first started out as a small monthly article in the local newspaper writing about video games and website reviews. In 2002 we made the transition to a one page 2 sided newsletter featuring coverage of larger events.

For 4 years it remained what it was , providing comic news for the local community.

In 2005 Comics,Cool Art & Games made the shift when we went "Live!" online with the launch of our website and ultimately in 2007 the launch of our youtube channel.

THE TEAM

Since the launch of the Yoututbe channel our coverage & programing has been viewed by people across the globe ,our famous events include The Big Apple Convention , NY Comic Con , NYAF ,Sakura Matsuri & Japan Day.

MEMORIES.

Throughout the years we've covered various events , conventions , exhibits and topics.

In the summer of 2007 ,Comics,Cool Art & Games embarked on our first relief mission when The Coney Island Condo crisis has happening and the fate of Astroland was unknown.

During the summer we filmed our first feature documentary film "Return to Coney Island." 

The documentary talks about the controversy involving Thor's takeover of Astroland and a chunk of the surrounding properties with it's grand intention to develop high rise condos & timeshares.

Throughout our journey we talked to the locals and they shared their views on the matter.

Outside of the world of comics and anime, we cover maritime & travel related events here in the NY metro area.

We witnessed the Royal rendezvous with the Cunard Line vessels Queen Elizabeth 2,Queen Mary 2 & THE NEW Queen Victoria made their grand arrival in New York.

A spectacular event in the City's history.
